Acupuncture at the Hub is now Tuesdays at the Rockfield Centre
As many of you now know, the Argyll Wellbeing Hub will be closing its doors at the end of the year. We here at Elemental Wellness are so grateful to the Hub, its board, staff and volunteers. Working with you these past years has truly been a pleasure and you have left big shoes to fill for Mental Health and Wellness in Oban. Your openness and compassion have helped us to redefine community acupuncture and bring our tools and support to the residents of the Oban area. Thank you!
The Friday acupuncture clinic has become such a remarkable space since we launched 3 years ago. We are a diverse group of truly compassionate individuals coming together every week to administer and receive healing in community with curiosity, levity and openhearted kindness. We knew that, no matter what, the closing of the Hub could not mean the end of this clinic.
In searching for its new home, it was important to us that this spirit of openness and a warm, welcoming community were integral to the ethos of our clinic and so we are so pleased that the Rockfield Centre have enthusiastically offered to host us in their beautiful facility. We look forward to building a lasting, collaborative relationship with the Rockfield as they expand their offerings to include more programs focused of the Wellbeing of the greater Oban community.
In order to ease the transition, we’ve decided to move the clinic to the Rockfield beginning this November (we’re technically hosting our first clinic there this coming Tuesday the 28th). This will allow us to continue to benefit from the administrative resources of the Hub and its volunteers for the remainder of 2025 as we find our footing in our new location.
The move of the clinic to the Rockfield is just one of many moves here at Elemental Wellness. With our new space on Stevenson St., the private clinic schedule has had to shift a bit too. So, our ear acupuncture clinic at the Rockfield Centre will now be held on Tuesday afternoons from 1:30pm to 3:30pm.

Many of you who have been regular attendees know how important continuity and stability are to our clinic. This is a lot of change. We know. And we are sensitive to how this affects your access to services. Rest assured that we are here, we want to support this community the best we can and encourage you to reach out if you find yourself in need. Dr. Beth offers free 20-min consultations on Chinese medicine and how acupuncture may help you. All existing clinic patients are offered discounted rates in the Elemental Wellness private clinic and new community offerings are in the works.
For those of you who just miss Dr. Beth time, she can be found in Oban, on Stevenson St., flitting in and out of treatment rooms at Little Bay Health on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
