After more than a year of development (and more than a few set-backs). We are so excited to announce that we are expanding our community acupuncture offerings to include group acupuncture.
In a world where financial security continues to feel more uncertain for more people. Many folks are having to make difficult decisions about their care.
We know the benefits of acupuncture: How it helps to regulate the nervous system, improve immune function and alleviate pain. So now, when we need it most it is becoming less accessible.
While new to Oban, Community acupuncture like the group sessions we are offering is a common solution to this problem. By sharing a healing space with others we can treat more folks at a lower cost.
Our new space on Stevenson will allow us to give 45 minute acupuncture treatments to up to four patients at a time. Treatments will be offered at £25 and it is our hope that this will mean that folks who previously found acupuncture to be cost prohibitive will now feel welcome to give it a try and folks who need access to moe frequent sessions will feel less impact on their budget.
Small Group Session Acupuncture
These appointments are semi-private acupuncture sessions offered in a shared setting (i.e. with others in the same room receiving treatment). Treatments are delivered reclined and fully clothed making use of acupuncture points from the knees to the toes, the elbows to the fingers, the head and neck. Silence is encouraged in these treatments and quiet will be enforced.
